Peanut Butter Appreciation

Since yesterday was National Peanut Butter Day (March 1st), I had to celebrate in a small way. I ate peanut butter from the jar all day. Nothing crazy, but doable during midterms week.

Midterms also happen to be the reason I haven’t been seen around here in a while. Writing still. Just somewhere academic that is not for the blog.

Yesterday, I decided to determine my love for peanut butter. BuzzFeed has a wonky quiz that I’ve used to scientifically measure my obsession with peanut butter.  There’s 58 items on their list. I’m supposed to check off the ones that I’ve purposefully eaten with peanut butter.

How much do I love peanut butter?

If you don’t think any of this counts as obsession, I used to carry around a full jar of crunchy peanut butter in high school. I pulled the jar out of my bag at lunch every day. School, work, travel. Peanut butter has a special place in my heart, so it deserves its own holiday.
